There have been TONS of rumors about an Apple tablet coming out as soon as October. Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen.
So what’s the big deal if Apple makes a tablet or not? Well, first off, will it live up to the hype? Second, will there be a big enough market for it?

Essentially, imagine a bigger iPhone and iPod Touch. Of course, given Apple’s record, it will be top of the line, also with a top price tag. The rumors going around mention about $800 for the so-called Apple Tablet (or iTablet?).
Other rumors include that tablet being released at a special event sometime in the first half of 2010.
It has also been rumored to be cheaper than the $800 mentioned previously, and instead be between $500 and $700, making it fall in between the iPhone and the MacBook as far as price and size both go.
The Financial Times also reports that the tablet will be release before Christmas, maybe even this month.
The tablet could have the ability to download songs from iTunes and possibly include the ability to read books, making it a Kindle rival. And of course it will connect to the Internet, and be able to access web pages.
If I was wanting a Kindle I might be willing to wait a couple more months and see if this Apple Tablet really is true, since it probably will have the capabilities to do a lot more, and be in color instead of black and white. Now to the real question, would you buy an Apple Tablet?
