The Archos 9 is supposedly going to hit the market next month. Archos is trying to replace the traditional pc with this new UMPC.
There is no physical keyboard, but instead a virtual keyboard, which is very easy to use. There is also an optical trackpoint to let you do anything from surf the web, to work or just for play.
The biggest difference from the previous tablet, the Archos 5, is the larger screen and it has Windows 7.
You can definitely use this just sitting at home or wherever you go. The small size would be perfect for travel, especially if all the airlines start getting wifi. Check email, weather, and it works well for all your entertainment purposes.
You are basically getting a tablet with the power of a bigger, netbook computer.
The Archos comes in a sleek design that is 0.63-inches think and is 9 inches long.
So, if you don’t want to wait for the rumored Apple Tablet, you may want to consider this one!
