You can connect to Wifi hot spots and browse the Internet with this device. Talk on Skype or use one of the many instant messenger applications and you are all set.

You can also take pictures, watch videos, and play games, all on a 3.5″ LCD touch screen.

With today’s smartphone, you can use the internet, and messaging too. But, with the Mylo, you won’t have any monthly bills, and like I said, no contracts! If you’re like me and hate the one and two year contracts you have to sign with cell phone companies, you should consider the Mylo.

Get most of the main functions of a PC or laptop right in your pocket.

Oh, and what does Mylo stand for? “My life online.”

The Storm’s whole screen clicks down when you hit a button. It gives you more of a confirmation than normal touchscreens, so you will be more likely to hit exactly what you meant to. It does take some getting used to having the whole screen move, especially if already have the hang of touchscreens on your current phone.

Photo: Blackberry.com

The Storm features a 3.25-inch diagonal display with a 480×360 pixel resolution and supports 65,000 colors. It measures 4.4 inches tall by 2.4 inches wide by 0.5 inch deep. The Storm comes with 1 GB of built-in memory plus another 8GB on the included memory card. Cards up to 16 GB are supported.

There’s a full HTML Web browser (no Flash), with support for attachment downloads and video streaming. The Storm will also support Verizon’s V Cast Music and Mobile TV services. Other options include Bluetooth 2.0 with support for stereo Bluetooth headsets and dial-up networking and GPS but no Wi-Fi.

Time.com says the Blackberry Storm will be hitting stores in November. The actual release date and price has not been confirmed yet.

Here are the official specifications.
