The Archos 9 is supposedly going to hit the market next month. Archos is trying to replace the traditional pc with this new UMPC.
There is no physical keyboard, but instead a virtual keyboard, which is very easy to use. There is also an optical trackpoint to let you do anything from surf the web, to work or just for play.

Today, Zoho announced today Zoho Mobile. Zoho offers online web applications and now is extending its suite of products to not only the iPhone and some Windows Mobile products, but also Android, BlackBerry, and Symbian devices. Zoho plans to extend to even more platforms like the Palm, and to develop more applications for business.

Back in February, at the Mobile World Congress, Intel and LG announced a new MID called “Moorestown.” “It is codenamed for the successor to Intel’s current Atom processor,” says Christian Coley from eFluxMedia.
MID is a relatively new term. MID and smartphones can be interchangeable, but since Moorestown has been named a MID, it will probably be bigger than a smartphone. So basically, the device is kind of a mix between a laptop and smartphone. It will require wireless Internet of course, which means signing up for a plan or connecting to wifi spots more than likely. Hopefully the wireless and data plans of the future will be better than the ones now. Internet, messaging, email, all that should be combined into one service with one fee, at least that’s what I’m hoping for.
